She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Colorado State University in Pueblo, Colorado.Jessica has over 13 years of experience in helping others make changes to improve their lives, including working with adolescents, families, couples and individuals in both outpatient, hospital and home settings.
She is a firm believer that we all have the ability to live healthy, happy lives and that although each person faces obstacles and barriers along the road to personal achievement, each person can learn new ways of cultivating fertile grounds of growth in order to obtain and retain a sense of worthiness and authentic fulfillment.
Jessica’s practice focuses on addressing new ways of effectively managing stress and anxiety, depression, and self-worth. Believing that our behavioral and thought patterns often entangle us in emotional dis-ease, resulting in a wall between who we want to be and how we feel about our self. The discontinuity between our own wishes and desires to lead healthy, happy lives and the feeling inside that we are incapable or unworthy is a destructive force that can be destroyed, leaving room for growth, fulfillment and lasting joy.
Believing in the positive effects of talk-therapy, Jessica’s approach includes techniques found in cognitive-behavioral therapy, symbolic-existential approach and mindfulness meditation as well as earth connection.
