MOOD

So why are Americans so unhappy and unhealthy?

Why are we suffering increasing numbers of chronic diseases – heart disease, diabetes, reproductive issues and mood disorders such as depression and anxiety?

Do we just have a deficiency of blood pressure medication, lipotor, glucophage, and prozac?

Something is wrong, dramatically wrong with us.  I like to believe that it is something that can be changed or reversed with holistic intervention, wholesome food choices and improving our parts of our lives that nurture us - our foundational food.

One of the most fundamental concepts of an integrative approach is the idea of bio-individuality.  We are all different.  All it takes is tapping into and peeling the onion back -  your layers of impressions about who and what you are - to get down the innate happiness you have inherit in your body, mind and spirit.

So, what does that mean?

Your Foundation - the FOOD of Life!

To us, everything is food.  We take in life in thousands of ways – physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

We even hunger for play, for touch for self-expression, passion and adventure.  All of these things are a form of nourishment.  These things determine the extent to which our lives feel enjoyable, fulfilling, and worth while.  When did you play last?

Foundational food is what we call life – relationships, self-expression, exercise and movement, spirituality, career, financial, sexuality, education, social life, home life, joy, health and education.

When your foundation is in balance and fulfilling, your live feed you, making what you eat, do for a living or think secondary.

When we use other things like food, drugs, alcohol, prescriptions and hiding from our lives, we get into an imbalance.  Or when we ignore our foundational food, the secondary food takes on an inappropriate level of importance, consuming our thoughts, actions and desires.  We seek comfort outside ourselves.

If our foundation feeds us, our lives are nourished at a whole new level.

So how do you change your mood?

We first address mood issues with science  - we provide laboratory testing of neurotransmitter levels (brain chemistry) that affect your mood.  From this test we administer natural therapies to alleviate imbalances. we have counselors, coaches and energy psychologists that can also work together with you to assist you in leading the life you want to lead.
