Neelima Kurji is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is delighted to be a part of the Living Well Dallas team as a private practitioner. She has worked extensively with clients facing a variety of mental health and addiction issues in an inpatient, outpatient and private practice setting. Neelima earned her Bachelors in Psychology from University of Central Florida and Master of Health Administration from University of South Florida and Master in Counseling from Amberton University. Prior to developing her counseling practice, Neelima spent the last 15 years working in behavioral health, marketing and business development. She has been a part of various school and community boards in the greater Dallas area. She enjoys reading and being in nature.
Neelima believes that each one of us has a capacity to heal, however choosing therapy takes a lot of courage; therefore she seeks to create a safe and transformative environment. She views it as her privilege to be an intimate part of the healing journey where clients can safely explore their beliefs, emotions and relationship patterns. Neelima understands that each client of hers comes with unique life experiences, strengths and challenges Her goal is to create an individualized treatment plan in a collaborative and compassionate manner using evidence-based psychotherapy. She implements principles of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy in a Solution Focused format. She is passionate about enabling clients to find new ways of perceiving and being and living their best life.
