If you’ve got some free time on your hands, Living Well Dallas’ Gabrielle Grandell FMCHC, CLT, NBC-HWC and Celia Naples, CHC have some terrific upcoming events and Facebook Live courses you might want to attend.
Mark your calendars for their “Conscious Cleanse” taking place on three Tuesdays: March 19, March 26 and April 2 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Cost $79 per person. Ask yourself:
- Does spring inspire you to clean house?
- What about cleansing your mind and body?
- Do you crave a little more spring in your step?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, it’s time to shed your winter coat and start dropping that winter weight, the women say. The symptoms many of us are living with and assume are natural effects of aging are our bodies reactions to our food and lifestyle choices. Are you suffering from: fatigue, aches and pains, digestive issues and stubborn weight?
It’s not a surprise since we go from cold weather and hot foods to warm weather and cooler foods. As the seasons change so do our food choices our bodies need support to adjust. This cleanse offers you the opportunity to explore foods that help you thrive and bloom. As the saying goes: “Keeping your body healthy is an expression of gratitude to the whole cosmos – the trees, the clouds, and everything” –Thich Nhat Hanh
Another informative event will be the “GMO OMG,” on Tuesday April 23, at 7:30 p.m. via FB Live. Join Gabrielle Grandell to learn more about “Genetically Modified Organisms” and their impact on your health.
The online class will answer such questions as: did you know that we are all part of a big science experiment? So much of what we eat every day looks just like it did 20 years ago. But something profoundly different has happened without our knowledge or consent.
Don’t forget the “Healthy Hormones,” scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, at 7:30 p.m. via FB Live. Hormones are the most potent chemical messengers in our bodies. Think of them like the Wi-Fi connection, the ‘send’ button, and the on/off switch. They perform essential functions; relay important warnings and they assure that everything is running smoothly, and that your rhythms stay in sync. Many things can lead to imbalances in your hormone levels or function. The longer a system is “out of order” the more difficult it can be to bring it back into harmony. Join Gabrielle Grandell to learn more about how to keep your hormones healthy.
There’s lots happening at Living Well Dallas, we hope you join us!
